Rhode Island SCORE

In partnership with the Small Business Administration, RI SCORE is a volunteer organization consisting retired business owners, professionals and executives with experience in all aspects of business management. RI SCORE offers access to FREE local workshops & events, industry mentors, webinars and business guides.

Center for Women and Enterprise (CWE)

CWE is a nationally known non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities to women entrepreneurs and women in business to increase professional success, professional growth, and financial independence. CWE provides clients education, training, technical assistance and a business enterprise certification.

Rhode Island Marine Trades Association (RIMTA)

RIMTA is an organization of Rhode Island's marine trades industries, from recreational boating to advanced composites manufacturing based here in Bristol.  Through advocacy, education, and promotion, RIMTA works every day to promote and grow the Ocean State's marine-related industry. RIMTA also works to create and promote training opportunities for Rhode Island's workforce by partnering with workforce development programs throughout the state.

Business Workforce Center

The Business Workforce Center is the state's central hub for training services offered through the state's One-Stop Career Centers and includes:
-OJT (On The Job) Training allows employers to hire and train workers, with the state reimbursing up to 50% of wages.
-CT (Customized) Training offsets up to 50% of the cost of training new employees.
