National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

2018 Prescription Take Back

On Saturday, April 28, 2018 between the hours of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM the Bristol Police Department will be a drop off point for residents to dispose of unused and outdated medications.  The National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.

We are only able to take medications in the form of pills, patches and powders.

Medications should be dropped off in their original containers; labels do not have to be removed, the DEA will be collecting the medications for incineration.

We will not be able to accept any of the following items:

  • Needles, new or used.
  • Liquid medications.
  • Cremes.
  • Inhalers.
