I hope that this site begins to provide you with the information you need about this unique, patriotic Town. Bristol is a community rich in history, volunteerism, ethnic diversity and beautiful settings. Once known mostly for boat building, it has now been discovered as a wonderful place to "live, work and play". The Town offers a variety of museums, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and shops for both its residents and visitors.
I mentioned patriotism above. Bristol is proud of this label. Our main street is divided by red, white and blue lines which also serve as route markers for our annual 4th of July parade. If you are planning a visit here soon or in the future, please refer to this site and its links. Visit our newly opened Visitor Center located in the front of Town Hall.
If you are fortunate enough to live here, this updated site is the start of a new way for you to do business with us. The website committee has attempted to provide you with information about much of what we do, including downloadable forms to ease numerous processes. There is a section that provides timely information. Note the colored bin to the right. No more guessing which recycling to bring to the curb! Also, note the calendar of upcoming events.
