When submitting an event to the calendar events must be of at least general interest to the public; have a positive impact on the local community and economy; be organized by local nonprofit, business and/or community organizations; be held in the Town of Bristol or the East Bay region; and directly benefit residents and visitors of Bristol. Invitation- and/or member-only events will not be posted. Commercial postings that advertise, promote, or sell products or services (such as sales, special offers, and discounts) of an individual or single business do not qualify as community events. Submitted events will be reviewed and approved at the discretion of Town of Bristol staff.

Audubon’s Summer Camps gets kids ages 3½ to 15 outside exploring our local environment — fields, forests, ponds, streams, and the coast of Narragansett Bay. Our camps are conveniently located at our wildlife refuges in Bristol and Seekonk. It’s the perfect environment for adventure, exploration, learning, and loads of fun! It’s what summer camp should be! Audubon provides a safe environment for plenty of outdoor fun in a variety of natural habitats.

Kids Unleash their Creativity at Summer Arts Camp at Linden Place Mansion!
Registration is now taking place for Linden Place’s Summer Arts Camp for Kids. This weekday creative camp is for camper’s ages 6-12 and takes place on the beautiful, historic grounds of Linden Place Mansion in Bristol, Rhode Island. Each day is filled with creative fun from 9:00 am until 2:45 pm. Campers participate in a variety of activities from costume making to games on the Mansion grounds, from arts and crafts to writing and singing music, and to playmaking and creating dances. Each one-week session ends with a performance staged by campers for friends and family to enjoy!
There are two one-week sessions, each arranged around a different theme. Week one (July 10-14) is “Stars & Stripes”, a patriotic theme followed by Week two (July 24-28) theme of “South Pacific & the High Seas”. Parents can register their children for one week or both weeks of camp.
