When submitting an event to the calendar events must be of at least general interest to the public; have a positive impact on the local community and economy; be organized by local nonprofit, business and/or community organizations; be held in the Town of Bristol or the East Bay region; and directly benefit residents and visitors of Bristol. Invitation- and/or member-only events will not be posted. Commercial postings that advertise, promote, or sell products or services (such as sales, special offers, and discounts) of an individual or single business do not qualify as community events. Submitted events will be reviewed and approved at the discretion of Town of Bristol staff.

  2. Rhode Island Moving Forward Discovery Workshop (East Bay)

    Planning for the State's future is very much like planning for retirement. What do we want to work toward? How will we want to live? RI Division of Statewide Planning is looking to the traveling public for knowledge and insight on the transportation network. Rhode Island Moving Forward 2040 Plan is the state's guide for future investments in all modes of transportation over the next 20 years--bicycle, pedestrian, bus, car, train. This workshop is being held at three venues across the state this fall. The content of the workshops are the same at all locations.
