The Finance Department is responsible for the collection of Town taxes, the payment of bills, and processing of payroll for Town employees. The department is also responsible for recording and maintaining the Town's financial records, as well as managing cash.

Subsequent to the Town mailing out the 2017 Motor Vehicle tax bills on July 12, 2017, the Governor signed House Bill 5175 Sub A into law on August 3, 2017, adopting the State Budget for fiscal year 2017-2018.
The Town's 2017 Motor Vehicle tax bills have been adjusted, and you have received a credit as enumerated in the legislation. If you have already paid this bill in full, you will be issued a refund.
