Automated Trash Bin Distribution Begins

Bristol Blue Bin

On March 2nd, 2020, the Town of Bristol began distributing trash and recycling containers directly to doors. Every Bristol residence will receive 1 of each 65-gallon container - Blue for Recycling and Green for Trash.

The automated collection will begin the week of March 30th, 2020. Until that week, please continue to use your current trash and recycling container. New bins will not be in use until the week of March 30th.

In an effort to better serve our businesses community, the Town of Bristol is offering the option for commercial entities to purchase up to 1 trash container and 2 recycling containers. More information on this service is available by calling the Department of Public Works at 401-253-4100.

Please Note: The Town of Bristol is not offering the option to swap out container sizes during the initial rollout of this program. The Town of Bristol thanks you for your cooperation during this implementation period.

Thank you for your enthusiasm, and we look forward to better servicing you!
